Apollo Beach Therapy Center offers small-group programs throughout the year based on age, developmental needs, and current enrollment. Offerings may include social participation, handwriting, school-readiness, and other therapist-led specialty groups.

Pediatric Group Programs

  • Social Skills

Social Skills is a small group class designed to help children successfully navigate social situations at home, school, and everywhere in between. Topics vary from week to week based on the needs of the group. Each class is curated to create real-life opportunities to put skills into practice. Example - create a group challenge that can only be solved through teamwork and effective communication or intentionally create opportunities for conflict to apply conflict resolution skills.

  • Handwriting

Handwriting made fun with Occupational Therapist Dr. Lovely. Classes improve print writing by focusing on letter formation, spacing, size, consistency, line regard, letter placement, and speed. Children have fun and develop confidence with a multi-sensory approach.
